This policy explains how Riccardo Baracco Jewellery Trading L.L.C. (“Baracco”, “we”, “us”), a company licensed in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, collects and uses personal data when you visit baracco.vip, book an appointment or contact us. We process personal data in line with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data.

• Appointment requests: your name, email address, phone number, preferred date, time and location of the appointment, the pieces or services you are interested in, and any notes you choose to share.
• Messages: anything you send us by WhatsApp, Instagram, email or phone, together with your contact details.
• Client records: if you commission a piece or transact with us, the identification and transaction details we are legally required to collect as a dealer in precious metals and stones.
• Website usage: anonymous or pseudonymous information about how the site is used (such as pages visited, device and browser type, and approximate location), collected through Google Analytics.

How we use it

• To arrange and hold your consultation and to design, produce and deliver your piece.
• To reply to your enquiries and keep you updated on your commission.
• To meet our legal obligations, including anti-money-laundering and record-keeping requirements under UAE law.
• To understand how the website is used and improve it.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for marketing without your consent.

Who we share it with

We share personal data only where needed: with service providers that run our website, booking system, analytics and messaging (including Google and Meta/WhatsApp), with craftsmen and partners involved in producing your piece, and with government or regulatory authorities where the law requires it. Some of these providers may store data outside the UAE; where that happens we rely on the safeguards permitted under UAE law.

How long we keep it

We keep appointment and enquiry details for as long as needed to serve you. Records we must keep by law — such as client identification and transaction records — are kept for the period required by UAE regulations, which is at least five years.
